Smell is worse today, smell is coming in our house. Can't enjoy the cool nights with the windows open, can't enjoy the outside because of the smell. This is probably more than just a public works issue. There have been issues with this property in the past year. The front was cleaned up, but the debris was put in the back and hidden by tarps, branches and a blanket. Problem is, tarps don't hide the smell. Definitely a health issue on the other side of those tarps.

CT statute Sec.19-13-B21 Gabage and refuse
(a) The owner of premises upon which persons reside or which are frequented for pleasure or business shall keep such premises free from accumulations or garbage, rubbish, rags, tin cans, paper, empty barrels, boxes or any material which, because of it's character, condition or improper storage, may invite the breeding or collection of flies, mosquitoes or rodents, or which may in any other manner prejudice the public health.

This issue is not within the towns right of way so it would be handled by the Health Department, not Public Works. I will send them an email to let them know

There is also debris from the property owner starting to accumulate on the town's property that abuts this property by the pond. Wood, tarps, extension cord running from the house to the dock, etc. This should be addressed before it becomes out of control too.

I smelled it today it was disgusting. Now I know where the nasty smell is coming from. Clean it up
