Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Dale. According to the Dept. of Public Works, all of the abandoned phone booths on Middlefield Road between 5th and Pacific Avenue during the redesign. But getting this one out of the way now is great!
Attached is a photo of the site showing the telephone booth has been removed. The telephone booth was removed as part of the Semicircular Road Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvement Project because it was in the area where the sidewalk is being widened. The phone company who installed is probably the owner of the booth . Not sure if this will get addressed when the street gets redesigned?
