In July I made a complaint about my food stamp card being used without my permission on June 7th at bi-lo in the amount of $265. I didn't get my ebt card until June 27 at people being Jesus on seventh avenue. I filed a police report as the customer service representative told me to do so. I gave the officer (officer Tankersly) all the information from the representative including the location it was used as well as the register number and the acceptance number.
I recently called them this past week and the officer investigating the case asked ME if I had any further information. How am I supposed to give them any more information if I have given them all I can. There is no more information what so ever I can give them.
I understand that people sell their food stamps but I will never. It's a felony. I'm not stupid enough not an I a drug addict who are the highest percentage of consumers who sell their stamps. I went without food for two months before I was able to get my own food.
The police department needs to find another officer to investigate this matter. One who will actually do the job and not ask their constituent if they have any further information when they have given all they can.
