There is no sidewalk adjacent to this property...DPW says it is the residents responsibility to permanently repair it..There arent any residents and if it is a question of ownership, New Haven is the owner!!!

I don't know who in the department told you that, but it is the City's responsibility. Do you know who your alderperson is? Give them a call and tell him/her it's time to earn your vote. Call the mayor's office and tell her it's time she earned your vote.

@ Jane - the DPW told me that!! Here on Seeclickfix even!!! I have been trying in vain to get in touch with our Alderperson who is Latrice James....Which might be part of the problem! lol

Just to clarify. In See Click Issue 1717630 the address of the sidewalk which was given was 68 Sylvan Avenue and that sidewalk inspection is what was deemed "resident's responsibility". Not the vacant lot. Hope that helps. Thanks
