The Ingham County Treasurer tax foreclosed this home on March 31, 2015. The Land Bank acts as my agent to secure and mow the properties until the annual auction process takes place. This home sold at auction in July. I have spoken to the new owner, who lives south on Pennsylvania, to make sure he knows of the neighborhood concerns. The Ingham Treasurer goes above and beyond in caring for tax foreclosed properties. It is not possible for the County Treasurer to correct the accumulated defects of a property in the short period between foreclosure and auction. We do not pick these properties, they pick us.

Thank you for the reply. I was concerned about the animals and people coming into the house to steal property from the porch.
