Picking up/dropping off at the station is horrible. In the station is a series of panels about a workshop held to re-design station access; but when I look at them, the pickup problem does not seem to be addressed. Where are cars supposed to wait to meet people from the station? For those of us who live in the eastern shoreline communities, neither the current scarce Shoreline East schedules, or a taxi ride offers a realistic option. The workshop plans have only a U-shaped "Kiss 'n Ride" dropoff lane, but no where to pick up anyone. And something needs to be done before the re-org can be financed and built. There is currently only one lane, for drop offs, which gets backed up when someone has stopped in it to unload. In the interim, what about moving the valet parking and possibly the bus pickup/dropoff area on the outside of the island to the side where the Peter Pan/Bolt etc buses are?

I agree with the suggestion to move the valet parking around the corner into the parking lot. That would be much safer (its very dangerous trying to drop off or pick up at the moment) - and it would be no inconvenience to the valet parkers. Moreover, it is impossible to pull safely out of what is supposed to be the drop off/pick up drive as one's view is blocked by the courtesy buses - these could also be moved elsewhere - walking half a minute is hardly an inconvenience.

Taxis and valet---Profit before people. Still no progress. Ugh!

YEP, No one in the city is listening to the people of this city.This has been since 2015 and the city won't even explain their logic on it. Hmmm, because there is none????

811 days and still no resolution to serve the people of New Haven. Disappointing!
