I agree! I walk across the street from my office to the café and am nearly run over all the time! There are people with strollers, too as it is near a hospital for children.

This has been a continual problem for several years! Being that the street reported runs parallel to the All Children's Rehab Center and the All Children's Business and technology center their are children, families and employees around all the time. Please investigate this issue before someone is seriously hurt.

Agree this is a big issue and very dangerous for all the patient's and families that come to Bayfront and All Children's Hopsital John Hopkins Medicine

I've only witnessed the wrong way driving a couple of times but it seems daily practice of the ST Pete 500 is occurring on this road as well. Yield sign needs to be a stop sign at 6th and 9th Ave.

I see the city continues to take their sweet time on this! I almost was in a head on collision last week here. I agree it is just a matter of time.

(posted on behalf of Assistant Chief Luke Williams, SPPD) Thank you for your SeeClickFix from August 19, 2015. Mayor Rick Kriseman has asked me to respond to you regarding vehicles traveling the wrong way on 9th Avenue South between 4th Street and 6th Street South.
Officer Matthew Carter from the Traffic Section has been assigned to address this issue. Officer Carter has responded to the area to assess the posted signs and the behavior of drivers. He learned that proper signs have been erected in the area. Further, during his time in the area, Officer Carter did not observe any drivers who committed traffic violations. Officer Carter will continue to observe this area as part of his traffic enforcement and educational initiatives.

Why can we not have a "Do Not Enter " sign on this One Way Street? At least out of the employee garage and rehab parking lot?
