Still no action of any sort. Could we at least get a little speed bump, speed pillow or textured pavement at some point to slow people down?

I swear that by the time many people make it to the corner of Benham and Lakeview they're going at least 60 mph. This negatively effects the quality of life of the people in this area. There's a vibrant church, a busy diner, and other businesses in addition to the residents. Does that Hamden Helpline even listen?

Still just as dangerous as before. Numerous accidents and totally ignored by the town with new funds for traffic calming.

I agree that this a dangerous section of road. Many people do drive too fast coming down Benham and around the curve. It's very dangerous trying to pull out of Lakeview.

So-called "traffic calming" measures are not the answer. The sight line at this intersection is very short. This is why turning onto Benham Street is resricted at times. The answer is to make this a one-way section with no one allowed to exit Lakeview onto Benham Street, and only allow a right hand turn onto Lakeview from Benham.
