This was first reported MONTHS ago (both here and through multiple means to the City directly)---and it's still there and getting worse, with new gang tags! PLEASE HOLD AT&T ACCOUNTABLE. Private property owners are fined if they don't clean up blight, and our neighborhood has been working hard to make sure that tags are quickly painted out (as has the City on publicly-owned property). This is the only space where graffiti is not cleaned up. This has been an issue for over a year now, and AT&T hasn't had to lift a finger.
Going forward for any graffiti on AT&T boxes call 611 and open a ticket for a specific address. The box should be cleaned or painted by AT&T within 5 business days. If not call 611 and refer to original ticket number. If box is not cleaned or painted by AT&T within 2 business days of the second call then call 510-645-2933 and leave a message or email dg3162@att.com. Please don't email or call my number before calling 611 and allowing that process to succeed or fail. If you end up contacting me please have ticket numbers from 611 available which will enable me to get the process working if it fails.
