Why, does crossing vertically make the rails stick out less?

vertically and horizontally reflect x and y axis, right? In relation to your position while riding a bike, vertically would imply - pop a wheelie, point for the sky, and heaad for the moon... I would suggest saying to cross 'perpendicular' to the tracks, keeping wheels on the ground as much as possible.. That way the citizens that have no business riding a bike outside of their properly padded, perfectly smooth driveway, don't get hurt following a poorly worded suggestion on how negotiate bumps on a path while riding a bike... scary stuff! And to the person having trouble with bumps while riding a bike.. NEVER TAKE OFF YOUR HELMET! Wear it day and night, pads as well.. World is full of bumps and dips.. May I also recommend a life vest in case it rains!

Asphalt was replaced in the fall of 2016. This issue has been fixed.
