Description
Hello, there were recently repairs done to the sidewalks surrounding my home on the NW corner of 9th St N and 49th Ave N. I appreciate the repairs, however, I have a couple of issues. On the N side of 49th Ave N, my yard has concrete curbs (curb may not be the right terminology) about 9" tall between the sidewalk and yard because the yard is elevated above the sidewalk. The west-most piece of this curb was cracked prior to any work on the sidewalk, but most of the pieces were hauled away with the old sidewalk, leaving about a 5' area where the dirt from the yard will now start eroding across the sidewalk and into the street.
On the MLK side the new sidewalk looks great, but the pitch tilts toward my yard instead of toward the street, so when it rains there are now pools of water gathering between the sidewalk and the concrete barriers that separate my yard from it. And hard rain causes garbage to wash up and gather there. You can see in the attached photo that pools of water are gathering only on the new squares of sidewalk.
Please let me know what can be done about these issues.

Thank you for your past submission via SeeClickFix. The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
Thank you again - Sincerely,
