Description

A large tree limb fell on my car while driving Farnam Drive between Davis St. and East Rock Rd. on Saturday night. (9/12/15). The pile of wood to the right in the photo is what had fallen. It was moved aside by some people passing by but it had fallen directly across the road and into my path. It fell with minimal warning and with no way to avoid impact.

As a driver who frequently uses Farnam Drive, this has me second guessing the integrity of the trees along the road. While I'm quite upset about the damages I've incurred, I am relieved that my car took the impact and not a biker or pedestrian. This could have been a lot worse.

Please be aware of this hazard and use caution when driving this road!!!
