Description
Water gushes from a drainpipe onto the sidewalk daily, creating a sheet of ice that I slipped and fell on last week. I yelled for help and saw someone in the window, but of course nobody came outside.
For months, I’ve been calling the city to try to get this pipe moved, and have been ignored. The city told me it is from a sump pump and there’s nothing they can do, but water pours out daily, even during droughts and when no other sump pump in the neighborhood has any water… and often there is what looks and smells like detergent bubbles in the water, which is an environmental hazard, and could harm pets and children. Maybe instead of calling the city constantly, my next call will be to an attorney.

I can't believe nothing is being done about this. I slipped and fell AGAIN at the bottom of Prospect (in front of #22 yesterday morning)- half the sidewalks on the street are all ice. AND the drain at #123 still pours soapy water out every morning. If my dog or any of my neighbors pets gets sick and/or dies from drinking that poison, there will be some serious riots on this street!!!!
So sad that not one city employee responds to these messages, shows up to take a look at the ice and water drain, or returns my phone calls...
