Why is there a automated sign making everyone who is northbound merge into the right lane when there is absolutely NOTHING going on, just the sign and 4 pylons then is wide open again. The sign is causing congestion for no reason and has been there for 2 days. Wake up UDOT! Typical UDOT stupidity!

Thank you for using Click n Fix to report issues on the road. The lane closures that you encountered were not being carried out by UDOT, but by Sandy City. I contacted their Public Works Department and the gentleman told me that someone has a two-week permit to work on the man covers on that road.
