I have been a citizen of Savannah since 1995. I have owned a business of 18 years, and this is the first time I have ever thought of scrapping it and moving on. I wonder what the City Council would have to say to Gulfstream Aerospace or any large employer if they were told..."We are sorry, but your City is lost". This has happened before with corrupt politicians in so many American cities. !8 years thrown down the drain simply because our City Council has not and will not address the issue. I will now be very vocal...I will be heard for all of us.

Completely agree with Burner up above. Have lived here for 13 years and owned a business the past 6. Like you we're wondering how many of us banning together ready to leave and move on will it take for the City to wake up and confront the real issues. Shooting at my back door on Friday afternoon downtown. Federal Court house doors damaged and replaced sometime between Friday 8 pm and Saturday 10 am. Front of my business. NO answers from anyone. NO cops have been by to say anything. Where do we all go since Savannah clearly is working to drive us all out.
