Description
The picture says it all, no one around. No flaggers no construction workers nothing. This is a constant problem.
Is it too much to pay a kid, put a flag in his hand and stand at the end of the street and tell ya the roads closed?? How about a sign, there even cheaper.
No other construction project gets away with this and every time I call the mayor's office they say there is supposed to be a police officer present Hahahahaha Only in New Haven

Oh it's me and I'm not going away (Guest)
I tried to follow up today with Public Works Public Space Inspector who will remain unnamed here. They indicated that they went to the site THE NEXT DAY and did not see anything. I asked if they were able to speak to the Construction manager at the office located at Trumbull & Lincoln as this has been occurring for months. They asked if I would like to come to their office to discuss this further.
It's a follow -up question. Did you speak to anyone at the site? I was cited rules, regulations and if nothing is present nothing can be done. They also indicated they had no access to See Click Fix.
This is how your City Government Works people. !!!
