Problem still exists......on going safety/visibility concern, hedges are still way too tall, N/E corner of Wilson St/ N. Washington St....Montco, Pottstown Pa, USA........Earth !
Is this how the Borough works.... 840 days and not one inspection performed by a borough inspector... No wonder people complain about how slow the system works.... This is a terrible lack of attention to such a safety concern for so many school children and traffic that use that intersection, including me, come on Pottstown, get someone out to fix this problem !
This is insane to exist for this amount of time, and not get attention from the boro, I contacted the boro codes department, and at least got an answer in a week or so, although I didn't like the answer, apparently according to the codes dept, it's OK to grow view obstructing hedges to any height You want, as long as they are trimmed back from the sidewalk ! This is still a safety hazard for vehicles and children headed to school, but apparently that doesn't matter. I give up trying to fix this safety issue. Thanx Pottstown, just focus on those jaywalkers and litterbugs! Rodney Graham This issue is about the hedges at the N.E. Corner of Wilson & N. Washington Sts. Peace !
