John try to install a Gazebo for bandstand and functions in this quiet retreat. The Gazebo will produce more trashes, loud music and more drinking parties in this quiet area. John purchased the Gazebo without any public hearing and try to install the Gazebo without DCR approval, we need to write to DCR to stop this project.

He will need to spend more than 60000 dollars in order to complete the Gazebo project. It is lot of money, plus there will be more trashes in the park and more broken glasses on the beautiful lawn area.

its funny, but this is the first I've heard of this, but this sounds exactly like the type of thing funded by the CPA, remember that tax that the majority of residents voted for? You should see it in this months tax bill. why anyone with a brain would vote for an increase in taxes is beyond me, but hey,I'd rather they spend the money on a nice gazebo than more pubic housing, which is mandated by the CPA that people voted for.

This is unrelated. Each ward is given money to choose to do something for their ward. He decided on his own with out asking public opinion in his ward what we would like to do with the money. Hey why not a neighborhood cook out and get to know your neighbors. There would still be plenty of money left over.

Could we have an update? Did the gazebo get returned? Where is the money?

This matter is closed their is no gazebo and construction. This matter is over a year old
