Where is the Substation?

The substation is on corner of Whalley and Norton across from bank

I have been dealing with this problem for years at 500-502 Whalley Ave. I have filed multiple "No Trespass Orders" with substation and no prevail. Constant drug, alcohol use by local winos and whomever sitting on my front porch or sidewalk bench in front of property. They constantly urinate around the property and block entrances to building by sitting on steps.

I have posted on here before and have not gotten results I hope this time is different.

I reported this last night at the block watch meeting. Sgt. Joyner was not aware, but now will be checking it out and alerting the department. So let's keep our eyes open to see if any changes happen

I just reported a complaint about the motorcyle racing that happens at this location, too. We really need a police officer out there and we need to light the place up.

It's gotten worse since that convenience store opened up....

Without getting into specifics I beleive the root of the problem is the Barber shop, Mikes Cuts, who recently opened on opposite side of building where convenience store is located. The side facing Whalley Ave. The same problems were going on at the previous location, also on Whalley Ave.,the barber shop occupied just up the block near old Primos pizza building. Drugs, Sex, parties, and of course mortycycle club hangout. I am surprised the City of New Haven has allowed this to continue for so long. I live in the neighborhood and this has been going on for years.

The most surprising move I saw was a few days ago at this intersection, in which there was a prostitute, in the middle of the day, standing in the middle of the street, leaning into a car.

Could we please get some cops here?

Mattresses removed, trash cleaned up, gate locked and "no trespassing" sign posted. I haven seen anyone back there in weeks.
