(posted on behalf of Assistant Chief Luke Williams, SPPD) Thank you for your e-mail regarding "SeeClickFix # 1971411," dated October 13, 2015. The Mayor has asked that I respond to you directly regarding your concerns about the parked boat and trailer blocking traffic in front of 5240 62nd Avenue South. Officer J. Harris was assigned to address the issue and made contact with the registered owner. The owner was educated about the city ordinance and is going to move the boat. Our officers assigned to the area will continue to monitor parking and traffic in your community. I encourage you to call our non-emergency number (727-893-7780) if you see any future violations so an officer can respond to take action.
If you have any further issues with this vehicle or any other community concerns, please feel free to contact Community Service Sergeant, Larry Hordge, at (727) 892-5941.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to the attention of the St. Petersburg Police Department.
Sincerely,
Luke C. Williams
