Honestly, one more drunken pass-out incident is of little consequence. This is such a common common occurrence that whether any one issue really gets dealt with means little in my opinion. If the cops do come out, they wake they guy up and usually he will pass out within a few blocks of the original spot. If the ambulance is called, he usually goes to the General and is out drinking a few hours later. This is a systemic issue that I doubt will be dealt with with any real resources or effort. However, I thought it useful to document it. Someone out there who has the ability to do something about this ongoing and persistent issue might just see enough of this activity, if documented, and decide to act. Then again, maybe the problem is out of the reach of any of our efforts.
