Non-compliant, non-permitted banner sign hanging from fence.
It looks like it is a fence belonging to the North Shore School. If they put it up, the sign should stay as a service to those that need a GED in the Community.
IF THEY DID NOT put the banner up... They can take it down without any fanfare, documents, photos, permits OR formal requests!!! Folks, there are more important issues out there than this.
Content is not a criteria under sign code. It needs to be permitted in accordance with SECTION 16.40.120 of the City Code which regulates all signs.
Let's follow the City code people, it's there for a reason!
188.8.131.52(H) - Temporary signs:

Such banners shall be attached to an existing freestanding sign structure or to a legally permitted structure or building. The maximum area of each banner shall not exceed 48 square feet.
