1.Please move sharrow to center of lane.
2.Please ticket and tow illegally parked vehicles (including Ambulances) all along this street.

The placement of this sharrow is correct. If parking is prohibited, sharrows are placed 4 ft from the curb. Vehicles that are illegally parked are ticketed on a regular basis by parking enforcement officers. The Parking Divison will be notified. Thanks for the post.

Sure, the city Acknowledges this but not:

There are always about 5 or 10 vehicles parked here so clearly the Parking Division strategy isn't working.

Infrastructure has to be designed safely in the first place.

You usually can't correct mistakes by sending people out to ticket vehicles.

Security guards at Yale say they never call in or tow vehicles that are parked for hours in the no standing / no parking zone here.

This is probably the only place in New Haven you can park without getting a ticket, and you're complaining. You should repost this as "Super-Secret Free Parking Spots".

By-the-way, nobody cares about the "sharrows."
