Description
For the past few days I have noticed the the Traffic signal light at the corner of Concord Street and Gorman street no longer has a delay for people turning left. Ive almost been struck twice. What is going on with this light? There has ALWAYS been a delay in green for people traveling north.

It seems the light has been working during the day with the delay in effect. But
I just hit light tonight and the delay wasn't working.

Hi John
Just wondering if there was a status update to this? Havent seen any constructions going on in my area for quite some time to be honset
For the past 10 years there has been a delayed green at this interesection, 24X7 365. That is no longer the case. Ill admit I have not idea how traffic ligts are managed , but I figured this would a simple adjustment in the system.

It would be my pleasure to follow up on the status, please give me a day or two,

Tim,
I spoke with the Supervisor of Traffic Signal Maintenance; there has been an adjustment made to this intersection from the configuration you noted. The green left turn arrow does exist, however it is now at the end of the light cycle not at the beginning. This change was made by a Traffic Engineer to coordinate the traffic flow with the improved Concord/Hartford Street intersection. I hope this answers your question. Please do not hesitate to call my office if you have any additional thoughts 508-532-5930.
