Description
There has been a very strong, gas or skunk-like odor in the Mill River area for the past few days. It's strong enough to permeate the building I'm working in.
Can we get an official response from whomever is causing this? Does DEEP need to get involved? It's certainly not pleasant and is definitely a quality of life issue.

The odor is happening RIGHT NOW on East street and is even getting into the building. This is almost certainly not natural gas, since the natural gas odor were this strong, it would be absolutely dangerous.
New Haven Health Department, If you could give me someone to be in contact with, I could alert them when the odor is present for them to check it out.
