This stop sign is very much needed. It slows down the traffic on Cedar Lane. People travel way too fast on this street as they are using it as a cut through. They should have more stop signs on Cedar Lane!

Unfortunately, there are no public watchers from the town of New Hartford who currently receive notifications about issues there. That is probably why you haven't heard any sort of response. I will investigate and try to find public contact info for New Hartford officials. Then they will receive email notifications about SeeClickFix issues in the town.

If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it, it makes sound, but no noise. This forum, for New Hartford, is sound, but with nobody to hear it, it serves no purpose.

I agree. That's why I've added the New Hartford Highway Department as a public watcher for issues posted in the town on this site.

lisen here buddy.... those stop signs are there for a reason... you cant see the oncoming cars half the time, and yes they are to slow trafic because everyone goes 90 on that road and theres tons of kids, sharp corners and maney blind spots... i know because i live on ceder ln.....

This is the second issue I've posted. Both got no official attention. The first one was real with importance, & sits near the top of Torrington's list. This one was after no response on the other, hopefully rediculus enough to see if anyone was paying attention. I actually agree with H. Beaver. I wish they'd put another at Richards Rd, Marsh Rd, Colin Dr an maybe one at Sekukski's pond. That will get the message across and maybe bring our rd back to where it was safe for the kids to ride their bicycles on it., No town officials have responded.

Maybe you need to pay attention more to the comments on your issue to see if anyone has responded to you!
