This is a long time dumping spot that should be scheduled for clean up on a regular basis. Perhaps, the City needs to be more aggressive in monitoring the area to identify and punish the offenders.

This is all true; if there's no garbage there, then it was picked up that day. I'd suggest putting a camera there, but only if there was going to be some follow-up - actually tracking down and busting the people who use this as their regular dumping-ground.

The city stated awhile ago that they would crackdown on illegal dumpers but obviously it isn't working. The only way to me is camera's because I don't think people are turning others in when they see one dumping. Start with a $1000 fine like San Jose is doing up to $3000 after that. The city needs to do some kind of incentive to curb this problem, once a month curb pick up , something.

Maybe they said that they'd do something, but they haven't. They did roll out a program to split the fines with people who turned in illegal dumpers, but since they're not putting any resources into this campaign whatever, half of nothing is still nothing.
