I think we can go one step better. This would be a wonderful intersection, I believe for an traffic island with plantings. Might it be possible to use some of the ERP / college woods corner land to make this possible? I think it would make nice transition from neighborhood to park. Monitoring is a clunky expensive solution, Great safe streets design might cost a bit too, but it's permanent and effective 24-7. If Fairhaven can raise enough door to door to bring in an expert like they did this summer, we can certainly raise enough on THESE street for an beautifying solution.

I saw the police ticketing two drivers on Cold Spring yesterday and - i could be imagining, but - people seem to be driving more cautiously today (for example, stopping at Livingston and Everit instead of rolling through).

It seems that the New Haven PD has been stepping up enforcement at this intersection lately as I've seen motorcycle cops pulling people over for running the 4-way stop on multiple occasions. (Hooray!) So I'll close this issue for now, only because it's been open for a really long time and conditions seem to be improving, if marginally. Thanks.
