Note previous report alleging the owner claims this is a Florida native species yard. It is not, and no such claim has been made. It is xeriscaped; no water has been used to maintain this yard for almost 10 years.

I believe you....the entire yard looks like it has not been watered, weeded, or mulched in years.

That's how we like it. We know that people who prefer what we call the Scott's look - trimmed green grass, everything nicely manicured, don't care for this, but we get a lot of people who say "I LOVE your yard." So, chacun a son gout.

The Florida legislature removed any reference to Xeriscaping from Statues 373.185, replacing it with "Florida-friendly landscaping" .
