It has been five months and no repairs yet. There was a recent gas leak nearby and the gas company representative was very concerned about this situation . Why hasn't this been fixed? Do we need to have a ruptured gas pipe and explosion before the city will react and fix the collapsed sidewalk around this exposed gas pipe

This is almost a year old. Someone will get hurt or the gas line will rupture.
Capital Paving is redoing the sidewalks and curbs on S Stree, about 10" yards from this hole. Please schedule them to fix this dangerous sidewalk.
The location is 1735 Johnson Ave NW ( 1714 as indicated on other notes.
