Thank you for the information. According to the City Ordinance 7-2-9-3(A) Snow and Ice, there must be a 4 inch snowfall event before public sidewalks can be cited for not shoveling. Evanston only received 2 inches of snow, per Public Works, therefore the city can not cite for snow on public sidewalks.
