Several years ago, roadwork changed the traffic flow backing up traffic onto west ave. It used to be the right lane was for right turn only and the left lane was for going straight (pulling into the bank, it is ONE WAY, IN ONLY) or turning left. No new lights were required, no arrows needed yet money was spent replacing and rerouting traffic. Now you have a right turn arrow that is worthless, people cannot use it as someone going into the bank, (going straight) is in front of them. Meanwhile the left lanes do not need an arrow either since there is NO oncoming traffic.! If the lights were correct you would not have the traffic back up and fewer people trying to do the right on red thing. As for people not yielding the right of way, there is no fix for idiots! But, perhaps if the light was corrected there would be less people waiting to make that turn. Simply moving the go straight lane from the right to the left lane would improve traffic flow. It would allow people to turn on the arrow as intended!
