Description

There is a 5-way stop sign at this intersection, but the signs need to be labelled "5-way". People on Mather cruise through it thinking there are only two stop signs and don't even look right or left to see if there are other cars at the three cross streets.

Is that becuase the people driving on Mather are driving on a much larger road as opposed to your entering from a side street? Sounds like you need to be a defensive driver as motorcyclists are at this interscetion.

Very few people actually make a full stop at this 5-way intersection; many do not even slow down. There are lots of small children and a school bus stop at this particular spot requiring extra caution from motorists.

Could this be because most of the locals that live here remember when there was NO stop sign or traffic Light at this intersection?
