This is a recurring issue, every. year. Can we please hold our vendors accountable?? The small details matter to making downtown an extraordinary place.
At 10:30 PM on Nov 29, only 3 were lit. At 6:30, 6 had been lit. The city spends a fortune every year, I assume, on electricians, climbing equipment, labor, and lights, yet our waterfront is dark. The lights in the royal palms along the waterfront all worked the first night or two, and since then, they've gone from bad to worse.
To summarize the number of lit up palms and the dates they were reported:
Nov 22: about half
Nov 23: about half
Nov 24: about one third
Nov 28: about half
Nov 29: 3
Nov 30: 3
Dec 4: 3
