I agree that all of this brush needs to be removed. I live right across the street and every week I have to pick up broken alcohol bottles, beer and soda cans, trash bags, etc.
***Last week I found a used syringe over there. ***
This has become an unsightly dumping ground and is right on the golf course. **In addition, this overgrown brush provides cover for the "undesirables" to hide in the shadows while they scout the neighborhood for things to steal. **
Please remove all of this brush and replace it with grass. Thanks, Mike

This is still an issue. Is this going to be addressed further?
Here's a picture of the trash I regularly pick up over there.

Update from Community Services: Thank you for your follow-up posts. When this issue was first reported in December 2015, an inspector from the Community Services department visited the reported area and determined that ownership of the parcel is the Lakewood Golf and Country Club. As the property owner, they are responsible for maintaining their property as well as any abutting right-of-way/easement. If overgrown vegetation needs to be cleared or litter removed, that is the responsibility of the property owner, not the City. Enforcement of this falls to the Codes department, not Community Services - just to clarify.
In December, the CSR who inspected the location made contact with the manager of the Golf and Country Club and was told that they would trim or remove the Brazilian pepper plant. If further action is required with respect to clearing of the easement, an investigator from Codes will make the assessment and notify the property owner using the accepted code enforcement process. Thank you again for your comments.
