Agreed, when their is a police presence at the end, middle or beginning of 1st ave, the speeding cars slow-down, or get the message, do speed on 1st ave..

The police are usually pretty good when called regarding these issues, speeding etc (but, you must call them and have them visit, taking a complaint).. I have done it and it works!!

Usually police action is taken a day or tow later.. Yielding about 7- 14 speeding or other violation tickets the day they are present.. $2500 to $3000 in ticket revenue for one day, in one location is not to shabby..

Also, start ticketing all the dog walkers on Leete st from Campbell ave to Washington Ave. My 91 year old mom almost has a slip trip and fall, stepped on a big glop on my lawn.
