The radiators are broken in the Glee Club Room in Hendrie Hall. They are always on, clanking all the time. The room is about 95% and we need to open the windows. The energy waste is so disturbing!
Thank you for your attention

Hi Judith,
I went ahead and submitted the issue to Yale Facilities’ slick new online Facilities Work Request form:
http://www.facilities.yale.edu/
I'll let you know if I hear anything further.

P.S. Do you think you could go to the email confirmation you received when you reported this issue, click on the link where it says “You can always update the issue here,” and drag the issue marker to the correct location? Thanks.

Sorry, Brian, but this is still a problem.
There is no way anyone could have complained about the cold. The room is never cold, and I just don't believe the report from Yale Facilities.
In fact, the entire building (Hendrie Hall) is overheated. Valuable instruments are in danger, for example the harpsichord in Prof. James Taylor's studio.

Also, do you think you could try reporting it using their new online reporter? http://www.facilities.yale.edu/
When I tried reporting it last time, I never got the email confirmation that you're supposed to get, so I think something may have gone wrong. Do you think you could give it a try and let us know how it goes (whether you receive a response/confirmation like you are supposed to)?

The issue may be closed, according to you, but the heaters were not fixed.

JM, Can you confirm that I got the room number right (201?) on the work order request I submitted using the Yale Facilities online work order request form? (http://www.facilities.yale.edu/)

I followed that link and, among other things, it allowed me to see the transcript of communication between Facilities employees working on the issue.
Last Thursday, Jack Tiboni of Controls checked the control switch that governs the heat and adjusted it so that it wouldn’t keep laying on excessive heat. He also put in a sub-request, known as a “child” work order, to have Plumbing check the radiator valves.
Tiboni’s note:
“LOWER ENABLE TO 500P TO KEEP HEAT OFF WHEN WINDOWS ARE OPEN, WILL HAVE PL CHECK RADIATORS IN GLEE CLUB RM. ** CHILD TO -PL, CHECK RADIATOR VALVE **”
On Friday, Joseph Proto of Plumbing wrote:
“FIXED MANY VALVES. COMPLETE”

Thank you. I will be in there today and look forward to normal temperatures!
All the best,
