I have written three separate complaints and requests to get this situation corrected before someone or someones property gets hurt or destroyed. I even noted the inability of the Fire Department and the Power Company to tend to a fire in the alley due to the neglect of the City of Lorain to maintain this property.
As of this day and several months of waiting there has been no response of any kind from anyone to remedy this situation. No one including the Mayors Office, Councilman or Streets Department has made even an attempt to contact the residents effected to give them a status report. With that said, I can only assume that as far as the city is concerned, the issue is closed. It is such an insensitive and shameful way to continue to ignore safety issues when it could have been a simple public service way to show the residents that the city is really trying to make the city what it once was.
