When there is blight, there is criminal activity and it makes the historic area of our city in which are restoring, look rundown, crime-ridden and ugly.

It looks as though these are possibly owned by the Macon-Bibb County Land Bank according to the Tax Assessor's website. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't part of the reason those homes on Oglethorpe aren't selling.

Yes i meant to mention that. Very few oeople are going to want to spend money on those huge homes on oglethiroe looking at those prpoperties out their window. No doubt that is a big reason for thise houses being on the market so long.

A Service Request has been issued for 1041 Maple Street, Inspector Alava has been assigned. A site visit will be made and violations documented.
