Description
Leaves were not picked up per the leaf collection schedule and signage placed on the block last week. The signs are gone yet the leaves remain . . . ALL OF THEM!!!!!
I took off time from work yesterday to prepare for the annual leaf pickup only to have the city neglect - for the second straight year - to come collect the leaves.
Please, come pick up the leaves.

I'm sorry this is not sufficient and I do not consider this issue closed. The weather has been gorgeous and leaves were picked up in other parts of the neighborhood. Why was our block neglected? Why can't this work be done as soon as possible? Where are the leaf crews going? Are they going to other parts of the city even though they've not completed this neighborhood? If so, why do I have to wait while the rest of the city gets their leaves picked up? Can they not be delayed a few days so the entire neighborhood may be rendered the service for which we pay?
Last year it took you until February and I had to involve my city councilman to get them picked up. Nearly everyone on my block has amassed a large pile of leaves by the curb as requested by the city. If these leaves are not picked up in short order, they will begin to wash into the storm sewers. Those that don't wash into the sewers will kill the grass underneath.
Again, I request the city do the job it promised to do and for which all of us pay our taxes to fund.

Apparently the city could come collect the 5000 block of East Seminary, which is ONLY accessible by going down my block (5000 block of West Seminary). However, our leaves remain. They city could also collect the leaves over on Brook Road, yet continues to ignore our block.
Since the signs went up and then the leaves weren't collected, most residents have huge piles of leaves around which they must navigate to get into their vehicles. The leaves are also starting to blow into the street where they will inevitably clog the gutters causing yet more problems for our little block.
I'm really tired of being ignored by the city.
PLEASE come clean the streets as promised and as we pay the city to do.

This needs to remain open until the leaves are picked up.
And it's pretty sad that the question about how the trucks drove down our block to clean the adjacent block was ignored.
