Thank you for reporting the issue.  City staff verified odor complaints on Shawnee Mission Parkway.  Weather conditions were 51 degrees, winds ENE at 4 mph. Deffenbaugh reported composting on Saturday, so the subject location could have been smelling compost.  All odor control methods were being operated and with ENE winds, some composting odors could possibly have been detected.  All other waste loads into the landfill are normal.
