The City of Oakland Public Works Department has received this issue. It is registered as service request #624066. Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we work through a backlog of pothole service requests. Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner. The backlog of streets in Oakland needing pavement currently is $435 million and growing.

Ouch. I bet the city would start doing something if they'd get sued. Too much is being spent cleaning up illegal encampments, illegal dumping and other nonsense. Instead of a stadium how bout fixing Oakland streets. I'd like to know what the Mayor is doing, not much in making the city safe.

This needs URGENT attention. Today I have seen at least 8 more cars with flats when I passed by 2 X. I am sure there have been far far more. Someone is going to lose control and have a serious accident. Also a trench has opened over the pipe at west grand and Adeline. The contractor has done a TERRIBLE job on these and needs to come patch immediately. I put safety cones out again and they eventually get removed.

Is there someone else in the city that u might be able to talk to?

These issues need go directly to the call center. Every one who's tires or car is damaged needs to fill out complaint with the city for reimbursement.
