I almost just died. Like, literally. I was crossing the street to the bus stop and this truck actually stopped (only the fourth time that's happened in my year and a month that I've lived here) for me, so I set out and noticed the other cars behind it slowing so I kept walking only to have a car I couldn't see (it was lined up just right as I was walking) NOT slow down and have to slam on its brakes and swerve not to hit me. I have filed a more than one report about this issue. Signs were put up in the street on each side for a day, then they were gone.
