There is a main sewer receptor right off garfield & 17 mile road area...it has smelled here as long as i can recall

Kathyb is right, there is a vent there for the sanitary sewer which is owned by the City of Detroit. It has nothing to do with the public works garage that is there, in fact they no longer work out of that place, they have a new facility up near Hall road.

It has smelled at that corner for approx. 30 yrs, as long as I have lived in CT. Now, it also smells at 15 Mile & Garfield, s of the light. No excuse for the smell. So glad I do not own nearby.

we pay high taxes in Clinton Twp, one would think the smell should have been resolved a very long time ago, the pot holes are terrible, wonder where the money from the lottery goes, I thought that was to help improve our roads. So much for all of the above.
