I was attacked by a dog at wolfe park and the Columbus police did nothing about it, probably because I am black and the dog owner was white. I see so many people who bring five to six dogs to Wolfe Park and let them run distances that goes against what Columbus says. I also see many of these owners who do not even bring a leash with them so when their dog does act aggressively, they are unable to properly remove the dog as the rules for dogs at dog parks states. I know what the rules are because I am a JD student who is pursuing a law degree and a master's degree in public administration. I brought forth these sakes issues police officers and they became very hostile towards me. I have witnessed Bexley police officers who have fined black Americans because their dogs were not in voice control range, but neither are the dogs of white owners and yet none them get fined. I am now conducting research on the Columbus and Bexley police officers as well as the Mayor's of both cities on their ability to properly enforce laws and rules. As a law student, in the criminal division, I am being taught that no one is above the law and all rules and laws must be enforced. It is disturbing to me, a future prospecting attorney, to see police officers not enforcing all laws and rules to people who are not African Americans. I won't have the luxury, not that I would want it, to pick and choose which race I want to prosecute and which I do not want to prosecute.

I will be going public with this rejection. Thank you for rejecting my speech and violating my 5th amendment.

So, what I am reading is Wolf Park is a dog park! Well, shouldn't this be stated so that those of us who enjoy walking in this park can find another park to feel safe and secure in while doing our HUMAN exercises? I took pictures of 8 dogs running loose while I and a friend was doing our walk on 08312022 and it made our time there unenjoyable because we were constantly trying to avoid the dogs that were running loose. With as many high school children that are playing tennis and jogging I'd think this would be a safety issue for them as well. And how many times has a dog run loose and did not adhere to it's owner's voice because he saw something more interesting to chase! Are we to (according to what you have said) wait until we are attacked before anything is enforced?

This is horrible and cruel!
