Nothing done lights still out I called mayors office spoke to engineering department emailed them. I emailed my alderman. I put it on this site. They have been out for at least 4 months. Not just one light at least 15 lights out. This city stinks

If these are the 12' decorative poles, they are the responsibility of the management of Monterrey Place, not the City. Can you confirm the pole type?

I believe they are. But why has it taken this long for a response and why if this is a public street and these lights have been out for months has nothing been done. Now is the city going to contact them or do I have to spend another 3 months complaining to them about this

So I have reported this issue of over 20 street lights out in Monterey Place. It seems everybody likes to pass the buck. I have talked to the engineering dept. I have talked to the mayors office and was told it's not the cities light poles. I talked to Monterey Place who said they are working on it. I emailed my alderwoman and got no response. I put it on this site a number of times and got nothing. I pay property tax for my house (a lot of money) I really don't care who's lights they belong to. They have been out since at least the summer. I deserved to be heard. This is a safety issue. especially by the school.

This has not been added yet everybody passes the buck. The city doesn't care and Homes of Monterey doesn't do anything. I have called some many different people. My alderwoman doesn't even respond. Well I gave my concern and warnings about the dangers.

This is still not fixed. This city stinks. Nobody cares I have contacted and talked to many people and nothing has been done.

They came out about 2 months ago and worked on the lights on 300-306 Ashmun St they worked off and on for a week then stopped working and the other lights by the school still don't work. Homes of Monterey should be ashamed for not checking and fixing this for over a year. Alderwoman Morrison should be ashamed for never responding and the mayor should be ashamed for passing the buck and not helping. Bottom line the 20 plus lights are still not working

Maybe if you come at night and see the lights not working you can see what I am talking about

I understand your frustration, the reason I closed the issue is because departments are being notified about the problem but the lights have to be fixed by Monterey Place. I am doing my part now that I know that the problem was not fixed to get them back out and get the lights replaced. I do appreciate your help. I have been complaining to various people within the city and to Monterey Place for over a year and nothing has been done. The fact that the whole section of lights out on Foote St where Wexler Grant School is and nothing has been done besides my end and various other lights out. Everyone passes the buck and does not hold Homes of Monterey responsible. I guess we will see what happens, but I do ask the city to come through at night and see all the lights out
