The entire length of Grundy Avenue and Coates Avenue in Holbrook have HUGE pot holes.. some had been filled in with gravel but it washes away in a day or two.. it's a bandaid fix.. why can't our roads be fixed properly? Every road in Suffolk County has the same problem.. I have seen cars at the side of the road fixing flat tires because of potholes.. they are so bad they are getting hard to advoid.

Coates ave is a disaster! I just got brand new tires and had to fix a flat today! Theyre unavoidable and I demand them to be fixed immediately as a taxpayer

I agree! The roads are absolutely horrible. Roads in this condition augment the probability of getting into an otherwise avoidable accident! Not to mention the increased likelihood of incurring damage to your vehicle. Come on people lets voice our concerns and advocate for a speedy and effective solution to all the pot holes!

Coates Avenue between Furrows and Railroad were filled on 3/4/10. The Area Foreman will continue to monitor the area and make repairs as necessary.

Did you try to drive islips roads? You must be kidding the tax payers. Dougherty Ave is so bad from the corner of coates ave to the dead end. Never patched and never sweeped! A real sin. Does your forman have a nice road? I hope he gets his glasses soon. It has to be his time to retire. Maybe tax payers should stop paying taxes

Potholes on Grundy Avenue and Coates Avenue in Holbrook have NOT been fixed.. Grundy and Coates need to be repaved the bandaid fixes don't work.
