I also would like to make an official complaint. While I know that police officers have better things to do than police smokers, I would like to see the city increase signage and make it available in multiple languages. I own a business on the 1500 block of webster and am constantly policing the patrons of Kapok restaurant who insist on smoking outside my business door. My store caters to children and pregnant women. I have spoken to Kapok who refuses to do anything about their patrons breaking the law and tells us to call the police. This gross negligence on their behalf to require their patrons to follow the law is upsetting. The signs are not nearly large enough or for the patrons there, written in their language. I also think signs posted on the benches would be more effective.
