Yard sale continues!! Nothing changed!

This place has turned into a junk store that's open 7 days a week. Last I saw they had nailed a huge wood yard sale sign to a street lamp post.

Agreed - this doesn't seem to end!

This property is in violation of Minneapolis ordinance 321.20 which states that no more than two garage sales may be held in any 12 month period.

The "yard sale" is on today. The inventory of tires is most impressive.

So far all I can see that the city did in the case notes is pass it off to another department (inspections). Some one needs to step up, enforce the code and start issuing them citations! Do your job.

I lived next to a guy who was running an illegal auto repair business in the alley from for a year. Air tools from 7am-10pm. (He worked with a headlamp on.) I called 311 A LOT. I called inspectors A LOT. Nothing happened so I moved.

November 17: yard sale occurring. Again. Tire stack is impressive.

Did anyone try calling 311? You can also file a nuisance report online to mpd, especially if it creates a safety or health hazard.

glad it worked out. the neighbors around here meet you at the door with a machete. at least i learned about the limit of two sales per year. thx.

Ongoing... This week there's been a huge metal workbench/steam table/whatever (??) displayed for sale out on the front yard all week. I think at this point the City has accepted this guy as a Force of Nature.
