The other day a motor cycle crazy was passing(leapfrogging) his way all the way up Hoosick St. Nearly killed himself by Roxy cleaners and continued doing it along Rt 7 until out of site. More evidence of the frustration on Rt7. Just fixing the light at PC isn't enough. Where the h___ is DOT? Where is the Brunswick Town Board and those nut cases with smartgrowth, here's an issue they might get some positive reaction from, instead of trying to keep people out of town!!

Traffic is always going to be backed up on Hoosick Street. As it is, cars only have about 30 seconds at most to get out of the Plaza. I'd say that's fair enough for the Hoosick St. travelers. Travelers may say it's not fair for traffic to get backed up, but residents think it's unfair to be made to wait for an obnoxiously long time (longer than the traffic gets backed up) to get out of the most convenient Plaza around. A caution light there would be a HORRIBLE idea. People would NEVER get out of the Plaza and the rush hour traffic would have the run of the road. Don't even lie to me and tell me that people would allow people to exit the Plaza, because they won't. Right now it's as balanced as it can be between Travelers' wishes and Residents' wishes.
